Any interest in a book club? I would personally like to start one. Or, we could hijack an existing one. Thoughts? Recommendations for reading? I can start a poll once we have a few titles/ideas.

What sorts of books? Like, books in general, or books specifically about being writers/writing guides? I'd be down for the latter.

I've tried and failed the general-interest/fiction book club experience.

Oh huh, that would be interesting- a book club about writing guides. hm. Would you want to try their advice as well? like test out different writing methods on various prompt ideas?

Yeah, that would be interesting, or use them to make an outline if it's a novel/screenplay-writing guide. I'm thinking like the "Save the Cat" books, which rescued NaNoWriMo for me. Or a worldbuilding book and we make a fantasy kingdom.

I've heard of save the cat, Wavemaker has a format for it. I'd be down to try it out. A collective fantasy kingdom sounds kinda cool. We could make a whole form for it and have sub-topics for the economy, religion, trade, etc. You have any books/websites in mind? I think this will be a good way to practice world building.
